FROZEN FOODS

This sector includes all frozen products

Critical points

  • The film must function correctly during winding in the extreme temperatures of cold stores (down to -25°c).
  • The film must often withstand extremely low temperatures during storage of the goods.
  • The film must have a high cling power to guarantee the package’s resistance over time.

HIPAC solutions

Hipac premium films provide an excellent combination of prestretch, rigidity and puncture resistance. They reduce the amount of plastic used to pack and stabilise the load during storage and transportation.

Depending on the wrapping machine, it is possible to use:

  • 333 rigid power, for “Entry level” medium pre-stretch wrapping machines.
  • 111 Super Power, if the wrapping machine is very fast and reaches high prestretch.

The 111 and 333 are available in a LT (low temperature) version, developed to enable stretch film to work effectively and safely at the most extreme temperatures (down to -25°c).
